Jouvay.com is a Caribbean entertainment and promotions company founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in November 2001. Initially started to fill the void of soca in the bay area in 2001, the website has since "grown" into a worldwide community with interests in many things Caribbean. It's still evolving and we hope you stick around to grow with us.

The term "Jouvay" combines the French words "jour" and "ouvert" and means the "Beginning of the Day". This term has been used to describe the party that precedes the world renowned Trinidad Carnival. Jouvay gatherings encompass a journey of relaxation and intense pleasure from the wee hours of the morning until day breaks. We are spreading this free form of expression in dance, music, and the total spirit of the Caribbean Carnival. Give yourself the freedom to experience the heartfelt music that creates an atmosphere of fitness, fantasy and frenzy with no artificial limits. We know we've mispelled j'ouvert, but we like 3 Canal's spelling and concepts …plus jouvert.com was already taken!!
