We return to our original party station, the Ethiopian
run Oasis. Our models will not only convince you to buy a
shirt, but they’ll also show you how to wine. We’re switching
it up a bit to bring two famous bay area reggae/hip-hop DJs;
Namane of Local 1200 and Lenoir alongside Complex of King
Solomon. As you can imagine we’ve got all of the new soca
and dancehall, so get ready to party. Congrats to KPFA and
the MDLineup winners.

We’ve been busy, but are trying to improve jouvay.com
for your browsing pleasure. Complex returned to NY and Boston
before heading to Anaheim for the National Society of Black
Engineers Nationals where “Hot And Groovy” played at a Flag
Party. Patricia has organized a whole new line of hot shirts
which are available online and she’s trying hard to find models
for next year’s jouvay.com calendar. Maya’s managed to survive
the intense partying in Trinidad and the insane violence in
Guyana. We made a roadtrip to LA and caught up with hip-hop
mogul Russell Simmons (for a brief moment) and Caribbean promoters
like Joyce Productions, GT International and Big Julian.
