Transportation to Tampa
Tampa can be reached by automobile, airplane, bus, or train.
- By road. The USF (3202 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, Fl 3320) campus sits 3 miles west of I‐75 along Fowler Avenue and 3 miles east of I‐275 along Fowler Avenue (14 hours from DC, 10 hours from Raleigh, 7 hours from Atlanta).
- By train. The Amtrak station is located approximately 19 miles from campus.
- By bus. Tampa’s main bus station is located approximately 15 miles from campus, with a transfer station located less than 1 mile from campus and bus routes serving USF. The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit provides affordable public transit service around the city of Tampa.

A shared shuttle service is available to provide transportation to and from Tampa International Airport.
Transportation in Tampa
The conference will provide shuttles to and from the conference site from the Embassy Suites/Wingate/Dormotories. The USF shuttle service(Bull Runner) is also available. The conference venue is ~ 15 minutes walking from the hotel. Transportation will be provided for the Sunday and Monday evening social events.
The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit provides affordable public transit service around the city of Tampa.
Parking. If you are staying at the Embassy Suites, parking is free. If you plan to park on the USF campus, you will need a visitor's parking permit. Please see USF Parking & Transportation Services map for visitor's parking. |
